Use the screen that suits each step
A phone or laptop is often easier for search. Confirm the film there, choose a viewing offer and continue through a service supported by your television. A TV browser may display the catalogue, but its remote and browser engine can make some interactions less comfortable.
Sound but no picture through AirPlay
Check whether the viewing application supports video output through the selected method. Audio reaching a receiver does not prove that the video path is supported. Look for the service's own casting control or a supported TV app, and confirm the active TV input.
Check the connection deliberately
Confirm both devices are on the expected network when your casting method requires it. Keep the sending device awake if required by that method. If the player works on the phone but fails on the television, focus on the output route rather than changing the movie search.
Subtitles on the larger screen
Subtitle size and availability may differ between the phone player and the TV application. Set them again on the device actually showing the video. Our subtitle help and quality guide cover the next adjustments.
